Measures towards the prevention of frustration and relapse of the drug addiction belong to the tertiary preventive ones which mean the complex use of medical, psychological, social, educational and labour measures aimed to adapt drug addict to the activity at the maximum possible for him level. According to the criminal code of the RF imprisoned drug addicts by court decision must be prescribed forced medical measures including in-patient department of the correctional institution or ambulatory clinic if convicts are in usual conditions where they are under constant supervision of the doctor psychiatrist-narcologist and psychologist. The organisation of the ambulatory and forced treatment is regulated in details by the Instruction on the organisation of forced ambulatory treatment of drug addicts convicted at the correctional institutions. The prolongation of the treatment depends on the convictís health. One of the main demands to the anti-drug addiction treatment is its persistence. When the course of treatment is finished the convicted juveniles continue to get supported ambulatory treatment both medical and psychotherapeutics. According to the above mentioned Instruction in the case of release of the convict if the treatment hasnít finished yet and convict needs to continue it all necessary medical documents are sent to the medical organs at his residence. In these documents there must be information about the results of the treatment, changes in his health and directions aimed to prevent usage of drugs. Although tertiary prevention among convicted juvenile drug addicts beside treatment has additional aim to help them to prepare for their future releases and change their attitude towards their former drug encirclement, itís necessary to create urgently special institutions for them. This gives us the opportunity to give medical and social rehabilitation for this category of convicts more profoundly.
