METHODICS OF WORK WITH SCHOOL STUDENTS’ PARENTS IN THE SECONDARY SCHOOL ON ASPECTS PRIMARY AND SECONDARY DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION

In the article is described developed by project participants methodical complex and ways of their using in work with school students’ parents in the framework of parents’ meetings. Our sociological researches showed practically complete absence of personal experience of dealing with drugs of elder people groups. Correspondingly mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers of contemporary school students know about drug problems only common information. This impedes using of family resource, full value including in the system of primary and secondary prevention. We are supposing that developed methodics by participants of the project is able to activate the chain “school — parents — youth”, where the first element is playing the role of expert system and the second element is connected with family resource of prevention. Methodical complex includes: 1) scenario of conducting of parents’ meetings on the topic “How we can save our child from drugs”, 2) Brochure for parents “Our children and drugs: specialists’ advises”, 3) the videofilm “Attention! Drugs threat”. It is proposed three ways of conducting of topical parents’ meeting. 1. Meeting is conducted by the specialist guided by prepared scenario and varying the order of communication depending on the parents’ composition and their reaction. Such experience is accumulated in the framework of approbation of methodics, when meetings were conducted by project participants. 2. The meeting is conducted by the teacher (class teacher) leaning on the scenario and brochure contains. Watching the videofilm. Strategy supposes that schools have appropriate technical devices and teachers do not risk to take the function of studying the parents. Work with parents in this case completes with brochures distribution.
